Cathedral-Real Alcazar

Last Sunday Natalie and I went to Spanish Mass at the Cathedral of Sevilla. It was surprisingly not too difficult to understand the priest. Too bad I don't know the Lord's prayer in Spanish. I was like.. I know this!! but I can't say it!! Anyway, the cathedral is so incredible inside and there is sooo much detail in the architecture it's unbelievable. After mass, we toured the rest of the cathedral-- which is enormous! (third largest Cathedral in the world!) I could barely get it all in my camera. Also, Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus) is buried in a tomb inside the cathedral! Unfortunately, we couldn't find it while we were there.. but if I find it I'll add it in here.. :) Here are some pics:
-- sorry they are kind of dark

huge pipe organ!

After mass, we headed over to the Real Alcazar- which is a fortress built by the Moors, right next to the cathedral in Seville. It has tons of beautiful gardens and fountains and here are some pics!

The most fish I've ever seen all trying to snatch up food in the same space..
I <3 Castles!!

  1. If Christopher Columbus discovered America, why can't you discover where his tomb is in 1 cathedral. Maybe he is in the cellar. Love your outfits!
